Inc. will spend $75 million to open a new facilituyin Norcross, Ga. (NYSE: FR) hassigned Suniva to a 60,000-square-foogt lease. The new space will be used to house Suniva' s first production lines for its high-valued solar cells. Suniva expects to create 100 jobs in thecomingg year. Sonny Perdue said the new plant also will boost Georgia's efforts to become a leaderf in developing alternative-energy technology, a key to reducing America'sa dependence on oil. "Suniva is the type of businese that will not only help our state grow jobs but will help grow our cultureeof conservation," he said.
