The world's largest hotel group by numbere of rooms has renewed and expanded its American headquarterslease -- to 361,00o0 square feet for 10 yearx -- at Three Ravinia Drive. InterContinental (NYSE: IHG) currently lease s the top 12 floors ofthe 31-storgy Three Ravinia Drive at Interstate 285 and Ashford-Dunwoodyy Road. The property is owned by Birmingham, Ala.-based CLP) and the InterContinental deal brings buildin g occupancy to94 percent. Along with the renewal of its InterContinental exercised an option to expand to two more which will bring its total square footage in the buildingh to morethan 361,000 square feet. The leased was to expire in 2009.

Strategic Real Estate Advisore (StratREAL) has hired Atlanta-based Carter to handle its southernj U.S. portfolio, which includes 17 class A office buildings. Charlotte, N.C.-based had the assignment. The assignmen t brings Carter's commercial real estate management to 30 millionbsquare feet.
