8 spot among the nation’sd top 10 metro areas with the highestforeclosurr rates. The area recorded a rate of one foreclosuree filing for every101 homes. Floridsa had three cities among the top 10 metro while California had six cities amonhgthat mix. Las Vegass topped the list with a rate of one in every 54 householdsa getting aforeclosure filing. Nationwide, 321,480 foreclosure filings were reportecin May, which is 6 percent lower than Aprilp 2009, but about 18 percent higher than May 2008.
